  • Prepare estimates across multiple design phases (Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documents).
  • Assemble and submit bid packages and proposals for various contract types (Lump Sum, GMP, Cost Plus).
  • Review site conditions and contract documents to identify missing or unclear scope items.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure general conditions and requirements are accounted for.
  • Evaluate subcontractor proposals, verify scope coverage, and assist in risk management for potential scope gaps.
  • Make recommendations to the Chief Estimator for subcontractor/vendor selections.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–5 years of construction estimating experience, preferably with commercial or ground-up projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Autodesk, or similar estimating software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively.
  • Site visits or walkthroughs as required to gather information for accurate estimates.
  • Developed interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills essential.
