Poly Lift Boat Lifts – Lift Installation & Service Technician

Location: Sunrise Beach, Missouri Job Type: Full-Time | Overtime Available

Job Overview

As a Lift Installer and Service Technician at Poly Lift Boat Lifts, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our boat lifts are installed and maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. You will work hands-on with equipment, positioning and securing boat lifts in designated lake locations, and preparing them for reliable and efficient use.

This is a physically active, outdoor role that may involve working in a variety of weather conditions, on and around water, and in confined or challenging spaces. Prior experience with boat lift installation is preferred but not required—we're ready to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, position and service boat lifts at customer locations
• Safely travel by vehicle and/or boat and operate in lake environments
• Crawl into tight spaces and work around docks and structures
• Load, transport, and stage equipment and materials for installation
• Remove, reinstall, and service lifts on customer docks and in slips
• Test equipment and systems for proper function post-installation
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition
• Explain basic operation and maintenance to customers when applicable
• Accurately complete service paperwork and reports
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate a problem-solving mindset
• Follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines
• Cross-train and assist in other departments when needed

Requirements

• Willingness to obtain a Boater’s License
• Comfortable navigating and traveling by boat
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various climates
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Positive attitude, especially when troubleshooting
• Willingness to work in non-traditional spaces such as docks and boats
• Familiarity with installation tools and practices (a plus, not required)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
