Pediatric Registered Dietitian II – Job Description

This Pediatric Registered Dietitian II position offers a clinically dynamic environment with strong opportunities for professional growth, including advancement through a structured 3-tier professional ladder. This role is also eligible for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus .

The Dietitian will play an important role in providing comprehensive outpatient nutritional care to pediatric patients with a variety of medical needs. The position includes conducting individualized nutrition assessments, educating patients and families, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement tailored care plans. The role also supports clinical nutrition services in assigned inpatient units and outpatient specialty clinics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care and counseling to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Evaluate medical, biochemical, and dietary information to assess nutrition needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for complex pediatric populations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist in supervising and supporting the daily work of dietetic technicians.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.

Experience:

• Three or more years of progressive experience in dietetics, including at least two years in pediatric nutrition.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Registered Dietitian, credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Dietitian.
