Kittyhawk is a company that is growing with locations in Garden Grove – CA, Canby – OR, and Albany - OR. We operate some of the world’s largest state-of-the-art Hot Isostatic Presses. We are processing parts for the Aerospace, Medical, Energy, Defense, and Firearms industries.

Our Albany team is hiring for a MAINTENANCE MANAGER! We need the support of a detailed, energetic and eager person. This is a great opportunity for someone that likes a changing environment and can navigate the fast paced and slower paced times. We are looking for someone who can wear multiple hats and juggle several responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid team background and related position experience. They will embrace the need to be detailed, thorough and thoughtful in handling multiple job tasks.

Requirements :

· Experience with equipment control systems, VFDs, PLCs, hydraulic systems, pressure systems, heating & cooling systems preferred

· Experience with retrofitting/modification of equipment preferred but not required

· Experience with maintenance software platforms required

· Experience with electrical systems and electrical safety required

· Experience working in a Safety-First environment required

· Experience using electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshooting equipment required

· 5+ years of experience with advanced preventative and unscheduled maintenance activities required

· 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with direct supervision responsibilities of maintenance staff within a manufacturing environment required

· Experience training maintenance staff required

· Experience leading site safety programs such as Safety Committee preferred but not required

· Experience with Hot Isostatic Pressure (HIP) vessel operations preferred but not required

· Experience working in an AS9100, Nadcap7004, ISO9001, or like certified organization preferred but not required

Duties :

· Maintenance of equipment at Kittyhawk Albany, OR facility

· Maximizing Kittyhawk Albany’s HIP equipment uptime

· Provides leadership to Kittyhawk Albany’s maintenance team

· Provides training and development of Kittyhawk Albany’s Maintenance Team

· Kittyhawk Albany Safety Program Lead – Training, Scheduling of Training, Safety Committee

· Responsible for ensuring site employees are trained and using the proper PPE at all times

· Responsible for ensuring employees have the proper LOTO training and LOTO protocols are being adhered to at all times.

· Responsible for reviewing equipment LOTO procedures and updating as/when needed to promote a safe working environment.

· Maintenance software, keeping organized maintenance records and predictive maintenance scheduling on track

· Develop working relationships with HIP OEM’s to promote timely resolutions to equipment issues

· Works directly with equipment OEMs to troubleshoot and improve equipment performance

· Supports troubleshooting of complex equipment issues both mechanical and electrical

· Evaluates and provides recommendations for new process equipment at Kittyhawk Albany

· Project Manager for Kittyhawk Albany equipment installations

· Provides equipment operational and safety training as required for new equipment or system upgrades

· Provides input for equipment operations/functionality continual improvement initiatives

· Works with Quality to ensure all equipment changes or new installations (software, equipment) are properly documented and qualified and released for production, customer approvals…

· Supports the Safety Committee as requested for equipment related safety topics/concerns

· Works with site teams to develop KPIs for process equipment to promote safety and operational success

· Develop Monthly Engineering Equipment Status reporting for key equipment

· Member of the Albany site leadership team

· Other duties as assigned

Compensation : $100k+ depending on experience

Reports to : Kittyhawk Albany General Manager

Education & Experience:

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required if less than 10 years of demonstrated experience.
