We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, with a focus on Electronics and Surface Mount Technology (SMT). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, with a strong emphasis on surface mount technology. This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of electronics manufacturing, process development, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: \n - Design, develop, and implement efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, including surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT)
\n - Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing defects, and increasing productivity
\n - Develop and implement test and inspection procedures to ensure high-quality electronic assemblies
\n - Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products and to provide feedback on design for manufacturability (DFM)
\n - Develop and maintain documentation, including process documentation, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs)
\n - Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, including process-related problems and equipment malfunctions
\n - Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
\n - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT)
\n - Proven experience in process development, implementation, and improvement in an electronics manufacturing environment
\n - Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, THT, and inspection/test methods
\n - Experience with manufacturing equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and inspection systems
\n - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
\n - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience working in a team environment
\n - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
\n - Experience with ERP systems, such as Costpoint, SAP or Oracle
\n

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills \n - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
\n - 10+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT)
\n - Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, robotics, and data analytics
\n - Certification in electronics manufacturing, such as Certified SMT Engineer (CSMT) or Certified Electronics Technician (CET)
\n - Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
