Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Wood Shop Assistant to join our team! This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in woodshop operations who enjoys hands-on work and supporting daily shop activities .
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the operation of woodworking machinery and tools
Support production of wood-based products and components
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety standards
Perform general shop tasks as assigned by lead woodshop personnel
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience working in a wood shop environment
Strong understanding of woodshop tools and machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required) Skills:
Experience routing and filing plastic laminate
Familiarity with edgebanding using an Edgebander machine
Experience operating horizontal saws or table saws
