The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for maximizing topline revenue by promoting Hotel Kabuki through messaging to guests, targeted consumers, and local residents through traditional, digital, and social media marketing.

Essential Job Functions:

Social Media

  1. Develop and curate engaging social media content that highlights the hotel’s unique offerings, amenities, and experiences to drive awareness and revenue.
  2. Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate performance, engagement, and trends. Adjust strategies based on these insights.
  3. Develop a social media calendar and posting schedule to promote timely events and hotel offerings.
  4. Engage with social media influencers to extend the hotel’s reach.

Property Marketing

  1. Create advertising and promotional programs and graphics for the hotel and all outlets.
  2. Collaborate with DOSM to create and maintain marketing budgets.
  3. Manage creative direction of all hotel and outlet digital and marketing assets.
  4. Lead and direct hotel asset development, including hotel and outlet collateral, photoshoots, etc.
  5. Create and maintain hotel branded collateral and signage for all areas of the hotel.
  6. Curate unique programming in coordination with hotel operations that are distinct to each outlet.
  7. Manage Hotel’s ResortPass listing and develop new offerings as appropriate.
  8. Ensure accuracy of Hotel’s Digital Compendium.
  9. Work in partnership with the Sales, Revenue, and Events team to identify opportunities and trends that could benefit from online and offline strategies.
  10. Work in partnership with the Food and Beverage team to identify opportunities and trends to implement promotional strategy to drive outlet revenue.

Online Presence

  1. Along with Field Marketing Manager, manage the property’s hotel and outlet websites and online listings including menus, ensuring optimization for search engine PPC.
  2. Manage various ancillary websites and online listings including but not limited to TripAdvisor, Google, etc. Ensure accuracy of all information.
  3. Responsible for brand voice pull through with the highest level of accuracy to property for all written and verbal front and back of house communication, including all digital assets.
  4. Collaborate on an overarching digital marketing strategy with Hotel’s Field Marketing Manager.

General

  1. Facilitate the tracking and reporting of all marketing expenditures.
  2. Present a positive company image through all phases of public and/or customer interaction.
  3. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by Director of Sales and Marketing and/or General Manager.

The salary range for this position is $61,800 - $86,600.

  1. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate messaging in line with the Hotel Kabuki brand.
  2. Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  3. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.
  4. Must be proactive in supporting coworkers and contributing to a positive team-oriented work environment.
  5. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
  6. Basic knowledge of mathematics and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to interact with vendors and department heads.
  8. This is primarily an on-site role to ensure the brand messaging is properly communicated.
