Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and improve dry product packaging machines. This role involves designing innovative, scientifically grounded solutions from concept through manufacturing and field support. You'll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, reliable machines that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate machine requirements into robust mechanical designs considering materials, tolerances, styling, and manufacturability.
• Develop and validate design concepts using engineering calculations and simulations.
• Select and evaluate components, materials, and assemblies.
• Perform analysis on stress, strain, and vibration to ensure design integrity.
• Improve existing products and develop new solutions to enhance quality and reduce costs.
• Support manufacturing, sales, and service teams with clear technical communication and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and quality issues.
• Contribute to technical documents such as layout drawings and user manuals.
• Propose ideas for product improvements and innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in packaging or industrial machinery.
• Proficiency with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools.
• Strong mechanical and materials knowledge with excellent problem-solving skills.
