Brief Description:
Part-time (~36hrs a wk.) Mechanical Engineer Internship position at our De Land Florida location. We offer a fast-paced, professional environment. We emphasize great attitudes, teamwork, and commitment throughout the organization to accomplish this.

Responsibilities:
Assist with production drawings for standard work
Assist with performing and reviewing complex engineering calculations
Assist with preparing engineering design and production drawings
Assist with technical documents, engineering reports, specifications, and work instructions
Assist with preparing calculations, bill of materials, and construction details & drawings
Assist with in-process problem-solving through the production process
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Some experience with AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Office, and other related software applications
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, internal production, and support personnel
Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal industry professionals
Ability to work both independently and as a team member to solve problems and learn new technical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering atmosphere with a variety of assignments and competing demands
Ability to effectively use various types of measuring equipment
Ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers
Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
Knowledge of proper tolerancing, construction methods, and industrial engineering is a plus
Knowledge of Parametric Modeling is a plus
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus
Education/Experience:
Currently attending or looking to attend schooling for a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Related Discipline
A combination of experience/education will be considered
