Base pay range $17.05/hr - $19.00/hr Position Summary Under general supervision, performs coding on all diagnoses, procedures, professional services, and supplies following the American Medical Association (AMA) official coding/reporting guidelines and other third party payer criteria for the purpose of reimbursement, research, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Answers coding questions from non-clinical staff. This position runs reports and monitors charges to ensure timely accurate coding of medical and behavioral health services and charges. Also, works in a collaborated effort to assist in the development of programs and plans for training medical staff in basic coding techniques. Education/Experience Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, AND Six (6) months of medical coding experience in each of the following coding classification systems:

ICD-10-CM

CPT-4

E&M

HCPCS OR
