MUTA (Male Urogenital Teaching Associate) and GTA (Gynecological Teaching Associate) - Human Model The Catholic University of America, founded in 1887 by the U.S. Catholic bishops with the support of Pope Leo XIII, is the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States. Established as a graduate research center, the University began offering undergraduate education in 1904 and today is home to 12 schools and 21 research facilities. Located just north of Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., the University's 180-acre campus provides students with access to a wide range of educational, cultural, and political opportunities. Role Description This is a contract as needed position for a MUTA (Male Urogenital Teaching Associate) and GTA (Gynecological Teaching Associate) - Human Model at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. The individual in this role will be responsible for educating graduate students in clinical examination techniques specific to male urogenital and female gynecological health. The examinations will include: (GTA) Pelvic and Breast Exam, (MUTA) Genital and Rectal Exam. Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Strong Communication and Teaching skills Analytical Skills for effective feedback and assessment Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality Background in healthcare or medical education is a plus Must be comfortable with his/her body MUTA Role: Women who have not had any of their female organs removed. (Uterus, ovaries, cervix, breasts). GTA Role: Men with a normal prostate and at least 1 testicle Flexible availability throughout the academic year.
