Network Engineer II – Hybrid
We're back with an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer II to join a well-established IT team in LA. This team is prioritizing network reliability, company-wide support, and long-term flexibility for the right person.
Position Overview
Title: Network Engineer II
Location: San Fernando Valley/Calabasas (Hybrid – 2 days/week remote)
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and support LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple locations
- Troubleshoot network performance and outages
- Configure and manage network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Enforce network security protocols (VPNs, proxy, IDS/IPS)
- Participate in upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance events
- Collaborate across IT to support operations and service delivery
You’ll Excel If You Have:
- 3+ years of network support experience
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- CCNA certification or equivalent experience
- Hands-on expertise with firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and security tools
- Solid troubleshooting skills and team-oriented mindset
Nice-to-Haves:
- 6+ years of networking experience
- Advanced Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
- Knowledge of protocols like EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager, VoIP systems, and VPN tech
- Familiarity with wireless technologies (802.11), F5 load balancing, and WAN troubleshooting
