Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer with a specialization in Chrome-based environments and their interaction with wireless access points (WAPs). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in optimizing network performance for Chrome OS devices, ensuring seamless wireless connectivity, and troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Design, configure, and maintain wireless networks to support Chrome OS devices in enterprise environments.
• Optimize the performance of Chrome OS devices by analyzing and enhancing the interaction between Chrome and wireless access points.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues related to Chrome OS devices, wireless protocols, and access point configurations.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement network policies and standards tailored to Chrome OS devices.
• Conduct regular wireless network performance testing, including site surveys, signal strength analysis, and bandwidth utilization for Chrome OS optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot wireless access points, controllers, and related networking equipment to support seamless Chrome OS operations.
• Monitor and analyze network logs to identify and address wireless performance or connectivity bottlenecks.
• Stay updated on advancements in Chrome OS and wireless technologies to recommend system improvements and innovative solutions.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Chrome and wireless system integrations.

• Deep understanding of Chrome OS architecture, policies, and device management through G Workspace Admin Console.
• Experience with Chrome OS network configuration and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Chrome://network-internals).
• Knowledge of managing Chrome OS deployments at scale, including updates, security patches, and configurations.

Additional Skills And Other Requirements

• Experience in managing enterprise Chrome OS deployments.
• Knowledge of security protocols, including WPA3, VPNs, and network segmentation, for Chrome and wireless environments.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification preferred
