Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Operating Room Assistant to join our Operating Room team on a Full-Time basis. In the OR, timeliness, cleanliness, and orderliness are essential. Essential Functions: Cleans and maintains various assigned areas Surface disinfection or specialty OR equipment Maintains supplies and keeps closets and equipment in clean working order Assists with patient transport, transfer, and positioning Transports equipment, blood, specimens, lab draws, and other items to other hospital departments Position Requirements: Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred: Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant program Preferred Professional Experience: One-year of previous medical experience in an acute care setting Required Certification: Current BLS certification within 90 days of hire Preferred Certification: ENPC and TNCC Certification Special Requirements: EKG training, Phlebotomy Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements. Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills - Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.
