ASAP We are seeking an
Overhead Crane Operator for a
Temp-Hire position with our client a local steel manufacturing company located in
Eugene, Oregon. The
Overhead Crane Operator will help process heavy steel parts! This is a
great opportunity to build a career in the metal/fabrication industry.
As a
Overhead Crane Operator , you will be responsible for:
- Operate overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads (machinery, equipment, steel material)
- Utilize crane controls, pedals, levers, and buttons to regulate speed/direction of crane and hoist movement
- Climb up and down burn tables to position materials
- Grind & deburr steel parts using handheld grinder
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Heavy lifting required
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Tenured experience in shop experience and machine operation experience
