Details: Position Type: Full-Time, 25 - 30 hours
Caseload: PreK and Elementary
Pay range:
$18- $25/hr; based on experience
Requirements: - Must have associate's degree OR paraprofessional certification
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in Schools
- Significant/Severe Caseload Experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Support students during mealtime, including feeding and ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Help students with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individualized care plans.
- Foster a nurturing and respectful environment that promotes students' independence and dignity.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience working with individuals with special needs or in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to the well-being of students.
