Do you love spending time with cats and dogs? You may be perfect for our current part-time pet sitter opening! We are looking for an additional team member to care for our client's pets in the client's home while they are at work, or on a vacation! This includes daily pet care and weekend pet care.

North Raleigh Pet Nanny is a locally owned business that exclusively provides services to Midtown and North Raleigh .

You will be responsible for offering care for cats and dogs of different breeds, including walking, exercising, cleaning up, and feeding them based on their needs. 

We provide professional and seamless care based on the client's instructions, which may be very detailed for their home and pet care.

Our pet care includes sending clients a full update after their pet's care and pictures of their active pets too!

Job Requirements and Qualifications: 

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license and live within 15 minutes of North Raleigh 
• Must demonstrate a history of reliability: Pass criminal background check & Reference Check
• Experience in pet care preferred (pet ownership and previous pet sitting experience are both acceptable); experience with both dogs and cats preferred
• Respect clients’ homes and personal property when on-site offering pet sitting services
• Required ability to follow detailed instructions to the letter
• Be able to demonstrate and provide clear verbal and written communication skills 
• Available to work weekends and holidays, ability to work varying schedules

All Services We Offer to Clients

• Work Week Pet Care
  • These visits are for dog walks and potty breaks while the client is at work.
• Out-of-Town Visits  
  • These visits are for clients who are traveling and we are providing all care for their pet(s) including let-outs, walks, feeding, playtime, etc. Several staff members stop by at different times of the day to make sure all care is covered. 
• Overnight(s)  
  • Overnights are services where we stay in the client's home with the pet(s) while the client is out of town to provide all care. You can leave during the day for work, school, appointments, or other events but we must let the dogs out to use the restroom roughly every 4-5 hours.
