HOURS:80 hours per pay period/ Non-Exempt


SHIFTS:Evening/Night shift including rotating weekends & holidays

WAGE RANGE:$18.39 - $27.43


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine blood collections, process specimens, become DOT and Non-DOT collections certified and serve as the Laboratory Information System Operator.Assist with any additional clerical work as needed and help maintain the overall safety and cleanliness of the laboratory.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Graduate of a certified phlebotomy program or medical program, a graduate of a certified Medical Assistant program, or an individual with either a high school diploma or equivalent with documentation of previous phlebotomy training and experience.

SKILL(S):

Must have good communication skills with a pleasant personality and attitude.Will need to be capable and comfortable working directly with patients and/or their families. Typing and computer knowledge and skills are desirable but not required.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience preferred but not required.
