Plumber–Pipe Fitter Instructor (Commercial Construction)

Location: Largo, FL.

Pay: $75,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience)

We’re seeking a Commercial Construction Plumbing–Piping Instructor to join our National Training Division and help deliver industry-leading education to apprentices and technicians nationwide. You’ll play a vital role in hands-on, classroom, and lab instruction—guiding future tradespeople to meet the high standards of quality and professionalism that define Comfort Systems USA.

What You’ll Do

• Teach and mentor students in commercial and industrial plumbing and piping installation, layout, and code compliance
• Deliver engaging, hands-on and classroom training aligned with NCCER standards
• Ensure a safe, productive, and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with curriculum development and training material updates
• Collaborate with training leaders nationwide to elevate instruction and program excellence

What You Bring

• 5–7 years of commercial or industrial plumbing/piping experience (minimum)
• Journeyman or Master Plumber’s License preferred
• NCCER Instructor Certification highly preferred (training support available)
• Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
• A genuine passion for teaching, safety, and advancing the skilled trades
