Job Description

How would you like to work at a child care center where you are appreciated, valued, and acknowledged? We are hiring for Lead, Assistant and Floater Teachers: Mon-Fri, $16.50-$23/hour! Floater Teacher Pay: $16.50-$17.50/hr
Assistant Teacher Pay: $16.50-$18/hr
Lead Teacher Pay: $19-$23/hr

Schedules/Age Groups:
All positions are year-round permanent roles! NO seasonal summer-only positions are available.

  • Floaters/Closing Teachers with all ages; 10:00am - 6:30pm
  • Infant Lead Teacher; 9am-6pm
  • Toddler Lead or Assistant Teacher; 9am-6pm

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
  • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
  • Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
  • Track children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age and a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
  • CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
  • OCFS certification preferred
