Overview:

We are seeking a Principal Engineer with deep expertise in SACS Offshore Structure software to join a progressive and progressively growing organization known for its strong leadership and exceptional culture . This role offers an opportunity to take on a lead position in key projects, working closely with the Leadership Team to drive engineering excellence and innovation.

As the Lead/Principal Structural Engineer , you’ll work on exciting projects such as topsides, subsea manifolds, offshore platform decommissioning, seafastening, winch tie-downs, pipelay engineering, subsea pipelines, heavy lift, and subsea lowering. This position is ideal for a professional who excels at managing workloads, guiding team members, and maintaining a commitment to high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural analysis and design for offshore structures using SACS .
• Perform advanced simulations, including nonlinear, dynamic, and impact analyses .
• Model pile-soil interactions and apply environmental loads (wind, wave, seismic, ship impact, etc.).
• Oversee project scopes, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

• Expert-level proficiency in SACS Offshore Structure software.
• Extensive experience in offshore structural engineering and analysis .
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
• Must be US Citizen / US Perm Resident
• Must be commutable distance to Houston / Energy Corridor / Katy area
