Job Overview: The Procurement Manager is responsible for providing analytical, project management, and tactical execution support to create an agile supplier network with a business unit focus for an overall lower cost structure with improved efficiency. The Manager works cross-functionally and supports efforts to integrate category strategies with Supply Chain functions including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain Planning, and Distribution. As a member of the US Refreshment Beverage (USRB) Procurement team, the Manager’s role is to collaborate with procurement category managers to activate key components of category strategies and process improvements resulting in improved supplier quality and service performance. What you will do: Lead strategic efforts, internally and externally, to improve supplier service and material availability. Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and sourcing managers to reduce non-conformance incidents and improve fulfillment rates. Serve as an escalation point for manufacturing and planning within the Material Service Alert (MSA) process to secure on-time deliveries. Partner with planning, manufacturing, and continuous improvement teams to eliminate waste in PO processing and goods receipt processes. Develop inventory monitoring and capacity assessment tools to proactively identify risk. Use Lean Six Sigma tools to lead process improvement initiatives to address root causes and seek sustainable corrective actions. Support vendor inventory management in close collaboration with materials planning and sourcing managers. Utilize procurement tools including SAP, Ariba, PowerBI, and Celonis to interact with data and extrapolate insights. Follow all KDP policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on supply chain, procurement, data analytics, or Business Administration area of study. 5 - 8 years’ experience in cross-functional supply chain role(s). Experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred. Experience in using project management tools, such as but not limited to: Smartsheet and Microsoft Projects. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Notes, Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated experience creating and presenting reports and insights. Strong internal and external communication skills. Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including senior executives. Perform in fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
