Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, up-to-date, and aligned with the overall product vision and business goals Translate high-level business requirements into clear and actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication Regularly engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and validate that the product meets expectations Make informed decisions on scope, priorities, and trade-offs considering timelines, technical constraints, and market trends Conduct sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review sessions with the development team Must Haves 8+ years of Product Owner experience Not looking for traditional development knowledge Experience with application managers and automation to limit and track risk and vulnerabilities Cyber security experience Experience working within a similar environment Recent experience with a security operations team Strong Excel background Strong JIRA knowledge Query language SAFe certification SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certifications Additional Information Cyber Security Experience: Background in cyber security is required, specifically for ethical hacking products and compliance survey tools Agile/Scrum Experience: Solid experience with Agile methodologies; previous PO/PM experience is critical Communication Skills: Must engage effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and customers Product Management Focus: Understanding of backlog management and stakeholder engagement Organizational Skills: Focused on organizing tasks and keeping things on track Customer Service Experience: Familiarity with customer service elements and supporting the team with user feedback Compensation Hourly Rate: $65-$70 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
