Job Description
Our operators are essential to the success of our plant, playing a critical role in ensuring the safe, high-quality, and efficient packaging of our products, while also contributing to the continuous improvement and advancement of our people and processes.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): - Operating various automated packaging & processing equipment in the production process.
- Setting up machinery and ensuring all production materials are readily available for each run.
- Operating and monitoring equipment and replenishing materials as needed.
- Visually inspecting production runs and documenting results.
- Troubleshooting minor line and equipment issues and notifying maintenance if unable to resolve.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area, perform set-up and changeovers of equipment.
Education and Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must have good attendance
- Must have strong attention to detail, work well as part of a team and be flexible to help where needed
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of industrial technology a plus. (e.g. HMI interface, labeling equipment, etc.)
- Must be able to stand, twist, bend for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and written in the English language
Shift: 4 on/4off (7PM - 7:30AM)
Wage: $20.46-$21.80/hr + $1.50/hr shift differential between 6PM - 6:00AM
