Under the direction of the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor II, the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor I is responsible for planning, organizing and assigning work to communications center personnel; ability to work a variety of shifts - including holidays and weekends; prepare performance evaluations, quality assurance reviews, custodians of records requests, monthly CHP 100PSD forms, civilians' complaints, injury and illness reports; monitor/manage critical incidents; ability to perform dispatch duties using Computer Aided Dispatch system; provide direction and assistance to subordinate personnel and other duties as assigned.

Bakersfield Communications Center (BFCC) has an immediate opening for permanent/full-time PSDSI position. BFCC is on a 4/10 alternative workweek. Quarterly shift sign-ups and annual vacations are completed by seniority.
