Position Title: Registered Dietitian
Location: New York, NY 10016
Job Type: Contract | 13-Week Assignment
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $52 – $54 per hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Dietitian for an exciting job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
Conduct nutritional screenings, assessments, and follow-up evaluations
Obtain and analyze dietary histories, habits, and preferences from patients and/or their families
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop and implement therapeutic diet plans
Monitor food–drug interactions and document findings in patient records
Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education
Adjust menus and meal plans according to patient condition and treatment goals
Interpret laboratory, physical, and social data relevant to nutritional status
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or related field (Required)
Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of related clinical experience (Required)
2+ years of clinical experience (Preferred)
Licensure & Certifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Required)
New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (Required for post-acute settings)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Preferred)
