General Job Description

IES Residential is currently seeking a Residential Electrical Helper in the Las Vegas, NV shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians during rough?in by measuring, cutting, and bending wire using hand and power tools.
• Help install electrical components including outlets, lights, switches, and fixtures.
• Carry, hold, and organize materials required for completing projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and take direction from supervisors and licensed electricians.
• Promptly report any unsafe working conditions or incidents to the appropriate person.

Specific Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
• Basic problem?solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership potential is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work in various locations as needed.
• Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.
• Willingness to relocate is a plus.
• Texas Electrical Apprenticeship (optional).
