Job Title: Mini Blind and Window Treatment Installer

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Blind Depot is seeking a skilled and reliable Mini Blind and Window Treatment Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for measuring, installing, and ensuring the proper operation of mini blinds, shades, shutters, and other window treatments in residential and commercial properties. You will work directly with customers to provide high-quality installation services, ensuring that each installation meets the company’s standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of Window Treatments:
• Install mini blinds, shades, shutters, drapery rods, and other types of window treatments with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure all installations are done in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
• Properly measure windows to ensure accurate sizing and fit of window treatments.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate with customers regarding installation times and any special requirements.
• Address customer concerns or inquiries before, during, and after installation.
• Provide recommendations on window treatment options based on customer preferences and room needs.
• Product Knowledge:
• Stay informed about different types of window treatments and the latest trends in the industry.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate products based on their preferences, budget, and home or office style.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect finished work to ensure all window treatments are properly installed and function smoothly.
• Make adjustments or repairs as needed to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Tools and Equipment Management:
• Use and maintain installation tools and equipment.
• Ensure tools are in good working condition and properly stored.
• Safety and Cleanliness:
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Clean the installation area and remove any debris after completing installations.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Proven experience as a window treatment installer, or similar role, is preferred.
• Experience with measuring and installing mini blinds, shades, shutters, and other window coverings.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of tools and equipment used in the installation of window treatments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working on ladders and in varied physical environments.
• Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Other:
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background check will be required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
