Who You Are: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cashier to be a key member of our opening team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and embraces a "guest first" approach. You should have a solid understanding of day-to-day coffee shop operations and be committed to upholding our standards of food, service, and hospitality.

As a Cashier, you will be the face of our coffee shop, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Your role will involve handling transactions efficiently, offering product information, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your professionalism and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our team. Friendliness & smiles required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Accurately process transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system
• Provide knowledgeable information about our coffee, bakery items, and other offerings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station
• Handle cash and credit transactions in accordance with company policies
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and care
• Assist in stocking and inventory management when needed
• Support the opening and execution of systems and processes for a successful launch
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold our hospitality standards

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of previous experience in a cashier or customer service role within a coffee shop or similar environment
• Serve Safe certified
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and floor presence
• Proficiency in Toast POS System
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
