Job Description

This is a ten (10) month position and is paid over a 12-month period.

Candidate must have successful completion of the following requirements prior to School Board appointment:

• Hold a valid license issued under Section 790.06, F. S. (License to carry concealed weapon or firearm).
• Hold a Florida Law Enforcement Certificate or Florida Guardian Certificate.
• Pass a psychological evaluation administered by a psychologist licensed under Chapter 490, F. S., and designated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and submit the results of the evaluation to the certifying Sheriff's office.
• Pass an initial drug test and subsequent random drug tests in accordance with the requirements of Section 112.0455, F. S., and the certifying Sherriff's Office.
• At least twelve (12) hours of a certified nationally recognized diversity training program.
• Pass physical, hearing, and vision exam.
