Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Consultant – Hybrid (California)

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Rate: Up to $110/hr

Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid - (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Our client — a Salesforce Partner based in California — is seeking an experienced Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Consultant to join their delivery team on a hybrid basis . This 6-month contract-to-hire role offers the chance to lead innovative FSL implementations and optimize field operations for enterprise clients across the state.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) solutions, aligning with customer business goals and service delivery requirements.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into scalable Salesforce configurations, and manage project timelines.
Configure and optimize Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and Experience Cloud , including Flows, Work Orders, Service Appointments, Scheduling Policies, and Mobile Solutions .
Ensure seamless integration between FSL and other Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Revenue, Marketing, etc.) as well as external systems through APIs or middleware.
Develop documentation, training materials, and provide post-deployment support to drive user adoption and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Salesforce experience , with 3+ years specializing in Field Service Lightning (FSL) implementations.
Proven track record working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud in a consulting or Salesforce Partner environment.
Hands-on experience with Flow Builder, Data Modeling, Lightning Components, and API integrations .
Strong understanding of FSL scheduling optimization, work order management, and mobile workforce enablement .
Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Salesforce certifications preferred — especially Field Service Consultant , Advanced Administrator , or Application Architect .
