Job Description
Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, onsite role is available for a skilled professional specializing in counseling and therapeutic recreational services within a high school setting. This position, based in Los Lunas, NM, offers a contract duration from August 1, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling 35 hours per week.
This itinerant role requires traveling to multiple school sites within the district, delivering tailored support to a caseload of approximately 35 students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will hold New Mexico CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) certification, ensuring pliance with state standards for recreational therapy.
