Job Description

This opportunity is for a School Psychologist position based in Hartford, CT, serving a high school setting for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract role runs from August 25, 2025, through June 11, 2026, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with consideration for part-time candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations to assess student needs
  • Develop detailed reports to inform educational planning and interventions
  • Provide counseling and direct support to students requiring assistance
  • Collaborate and support the Planning and Placement Team (PPT) in decision-making
  • Assist in creating individualized education plans and strategies to enhance student success

Qualifications:

  • Valid CT 070 School Psychologist License is required
  • Proven experience performing standard psychological duties in an educational setting
  • Strong skills in evaluation, report writing, and student counseling
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Commitment to supporting high school students educational and emotional growth
