Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Social Worker specializing in school settings, providing services at a single middle school location in Holland, MI. This is a leave contract role with a scheduled duration from September 3 to October 13, requiring full-time availability at 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work services to a caseload of approximately 30 middle school students.
• Address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs through direct counseling and collaboration with educators and families.
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student requirements.
• Work closely with school staff to promote a supportive and safe learning environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker certification (310 License).
• Approval and registration with Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
• Experience working with middle school-aged children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage and support students, families, and school personnel effectively.

Location:

• One middle school site in Holland, Michigan.
