Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker position is available to provide comprehensive social work services to K-12 students. This contract role requires a dedicated professional to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs throughout the full school year. The position is located near Puyallup, WA, with a primary location in Yelm and surrounding areas considered.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling to students in grades K-12
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to address students social, emotional, and academic barriers
• Advocate for students well-being and connect families with community resources
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development when applicable
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and district policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health, and behavioral interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to education and social work
