Salary: $21.00 per hour ($14.30 per hour + $6.50/hr average in tips). 50% employer-paid health benefits and 401K with 4% employer match for hourly employees who average over 30 hours per week. We provide paid sick leave as required by the HFWA.

Reports To: General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers to make them feel comfortable and welcome
• Serve customers and handle cash and credit transactions
• Follow Sweet Cows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling andsafety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Serve menu items to customers in a courteous and timely manner
• Quickly and accurately prepare menu items including ice cream, shakes, cakes, and ice cream sammies
• Check quality and temperatures throughout the day to ensure Sweet Cow quality and safety standards are met or exceeded
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop and ensures proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire shop including queue, restrooms, scooper and prep areas
• Effectively handle customer concerns and complaints
• Work as a team to prepare the shop for each shift
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Sweet Cow
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Contributes to a positive team environment

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years of age

EXPERIENCE

• Previous service industry experience preferred
