We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex insurance coverage matters and possess a deep understanding of the nuances of the tech industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting cases, engage with high-profile clients, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Associate Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Analyzing insurance policies, providing coverage opinions, and advising clients on coverage matters.
2. Representing clients in state and federal court proceedings, including pre-trial motions, court hearings, and trials.
3. Conducting and defending depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
4. Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs in a variety of insurance coverage matters.
5. Handling complex construction litigation cases, including negotiating settlements and preparing for trial.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys and support staff to ensure that cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
7. Staying updated on developments in insurance law and the tech services industry and adjusting strategies accordingly.
8. Providing excellent client service by maintaining regular contact with clients, addressing their concerns, and keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage.
4. Extensive experience in state court, federal court, depositions, motions, and drafting pleadings.
5. Proven track record in construction litigation OR insurance defense is a plus
