Senior Business Data Analyst – Requirements Engineering, Data Workflow Optimization & Dashboard Visualization
Austin, Texas (Hybrid)

Required Skills:

• 10+ years as Business Data Analyst in IT with strong analytical & documentation skills.


• 10+ years collaborating with technical & non-technical teams to analyze complex data.


• 10+ years designing/optimizing data workflows & management processes (using modeling/mapping tools).


• 10+ years writing Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.


• 8+ years creating/maintaining data documentation (data dictionaries, BRDs, data mapping).


• 8+ years designing & presenting visual data models/dashboards.


• 8+ years leading data-focused meetings, documenting outcomes, and resolving issues.  
  

Preferred Skills:

• 4 years Bachelor’s in Data Science, CS, IS, Business Analytics, or related (or equivalent experience).


• 4 years Strong multi-tasking ability to manage multiple projects.


• 3+ years knowledge of SNAP, Medicaid, TANF eligibility rules.


• 3+ years applying policy in integrated eligibility case management systems.  
  

Specific Skills:

• Business data analysis & requirement gathering.


• Epics and User Stories creation with acceptance criteria.


• Data workflow optimization & process mapping.


• Data modeling and visualization (dashboards, diagrams).


• Documentation (BRDs, data dictionaries, data mapping specs).


• Stakeholder collaboration, workshops, and requirement elicitation.


• Strong analytical problem-solving & communication skills.
