We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with a strong focus on SQL querying and some data science skills to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our data-driven decision-making process by building and maintaining complex queries, creating insightful visualizations, and collaborating closely with the data science team. You will be tasked with transforming raw data into meaningful insights, ensuring that the business can access, understand, and utilize information effectively.

What You Bring to the Team

You should have a strong proficiency in SQL, capable of building complex queries to extract and manipulate data from large datasets. Your role will involve working with diverse data sources to support business intelligence initiatives. Your analytical mindset and understanding of business contexts will enable you to bridge the gap between raw data and strategic insights.

Day to Day

In this role, you will write and optimize SQL queries, manage data transformations, and generate reports to support business objectives. On a daily basis, you’ll be translating business requirements into technical solutions, help drive actionable insights. You’ll also collaborate with the Product Management and data science team to support deeper analyses, such as clustering or regression, and potentially assist in setting up A/B testing frameworks for product and marketing teams.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries.

• Basic data science skills, including statistical analysis and familiarity with common machine learning concepts.

• Experience in working with large datasets and using data transformation techniques to prepare data for reporting and analysis.

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines to support automated report generation - Experience creating complex BI reports and dashboards using Power BI. - Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to connect data insights to business strategies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes flexible time off, a robust well-being program that provides for 4 global wellbeing days per year, and a 3-week work from anywhere option.

Base Pay Ranges:

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 157,650.00 - 231,220.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 129,000.00 - 189,200.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 117,600.00 - 172,480.00 USD
