Senior Frontend Engineer | React , Typescript, Vue

Location: New York, US | Hybrid

Pay: $150k - $180k p/a + Benefits + Equity

About the job

Our client is seeking an experienced frontend developer to join them as they advance their company's products and infrastructure. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in developing the advisor experience, the core of the opaline platform. Collaborating with product and design, this role will concentrate on their external website, content and supplier systems, internal admin tools, and external integrations. The ideal candidate understands their mission and brand, is enthused about their creations, and is dedicated to crafting top-tier software.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers to define and prioritise the roadmap
• With your engineering peers, construct the travel advisors application, responsible for onboarding new advisors, facilitating travel searches and bookings, and managing advisor itineraries and client interactions
• Emphasise web development and coordinate with backend engineers to establish end-to-end engineering solutions
• Lead projects, overseeing solution development, implementation, and delivery
• The salary range for all engineering roles is $150-180k + equity

Required Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of frontend web development experience
• 3+ years of experience using one of the following: React / Vue / Angular
• 2+ years of experience with Typescript
• Proficiency in building stateful and event-driven web applications
• Experience with testing web applications
• Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills

This position is based in New York City with a hybrid WFH & office schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are in-office days, with flexibility for Monday/Friday at your preference).
