Trade Team is looking for 20 Shipfitters for a new construction shipyard in Marinette, WI.
Job Description:
General assembly of steel and aluminum ships through welding using electric, gas, arc and other welding equipment. Determines proper equipment to be used and inspects, tests and repairs work pieces accordingly.
An intermediate shipfitter is responsible for various tools and equipment used in the fabrication, assembling and erection of metal components.
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have at least 2-3 years of shipfitting experience.
- Must be able to adequately read and interpret blueprints.
