Social Media Manager Role

True North Social is a dynamic and innovative digital marketing company that prides itself on creativity, teamwork, and delivering exceptional results to our clients. We're looking for an experienced Social Media manager to bring fresh ideas to the table and collaborate with our vibrant team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development of monthly social media marketing strategy plans for multiple client’s to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Create social content calendars for multiple brands ensuring consistency, engagement, and brand voice across all platforms.
  • Lead content creation efforts to ensure our social calendars are high-quality, on-brand, and meet client expectations.
  • Work with designers to create visually appealing graphics and visual content to complement social media posts.
  • Draft compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and is in alignment with the brand voice
  • Occasionally act as Community Manager for multiple client accounts, with support from coordinators, by engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages, and foster a sense of community across social platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather relevant information for content creation and stay up-to-date with brand updates and initiatives.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics and adapt strategies to optimize results.
  • Regularly perform online research on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide exceptional client-facing support, addressing inquiries, concerns, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager
  • Both experienced and comfortable managing multiple clients simultaneously
  • Experienced on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and more.
  • A solid understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and ability to interpret reporting and optimize as necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools and social media management platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using design tools and apps to create enticing social media content
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
