Job Description

This opportunity is for a School Social Worker to support high school students from grades 5 through 12. The position is contract-based with an estimated commitment of 15 hours per week and offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability. You will work closely with approximately 29 students receiving direct services and 7 students on consult, with assessments and testing conducted by the school psychologists.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized social work services to students in grades 5-12.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, teachers, and families.
• Providing consultative support for students requiring indirect services.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines.
• Participating in case conferences and contributing to student support plans.

Desired qualifications and skills:

• Valid Social Worker credential or licensure appropriate for school settings.
• Experience working with adolescent populations in educational environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while prioritizing student needs.
• Familiarity with school-based mental health and support services.
