You should also have a passion for building reliable systems and solving problems, supported by strong DevOps discipline, software development expertise and a customer-focused attitude.If you’re looking for a supportive environment to learn, explore and make an impact-- Come join our team!**What you’ll be doing*** Engineering and support for critical edge traffic, API gateway and security systems* Architect and implement software, systems, and tooling- with a focus on building self-service platforms for internal teams* Measure and optimize performance and reliability for critical security systems and services* Write and contribute to project plans, author engineering level documentation, and develop detailed test plans* Communicate clearly and effectively with internal partner teams as well as vendors* Participate in an on-call rotation as needed**More about you*** Ideal candidate will have platform, development or SRE experience in a large-scale environment* Strong customer service focus coupled with a proven ability to positively interact with customers of all levels within the organization.* Organized, responsive and thorough problem solver* Exhibit a strong work ethic and a positive outlook* Independent and entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for continuous improvement* Focused on automation and streamlining solutions* Passionate about giving and receiving mentorship and inspiring others to succeed**Qualifications**:* BS in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent education and experience required* 5+ Years’ experience providing engineering and operations support of mission critical services* Proficiency with software development in a well-known language (e.g. Python, Go are a plus)* Demonstrates advanced knowledge of APIs and web related technologies (CDN, Reverse Proxies, Caching technologies such as Varnish and VCL a plus) and protocols ( TCP/IP, DNS)* Demonstrates knowledge in security systems including WAF and Bot Mitigation* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure and config management/declarative configuration.
