RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on the latest applications of data science to solve business problems
- Provide ad hoc data requests (summarization, analysis)
- Work with multiple stakeholders to author technical data requirements for a technical audience (+ build templates of these set of Technical requirements)
- Ability to break down a project into specific tasks involving business analysis, data science, and engineering
- Working with the data engneering team to create processes for data ingestion, data validation, and balancing checks
- Architect data analytics frameworks and solutions to solve data-driven business problems
- Use Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Operational Research techniques to develop data models
- Extract, transform, and organize the data into datasets using tools like SQL
- Validate the results of the model solutions by developing testing frameworks using Hadoop, Python, etc.
- Responsible for making presentations to senior management, communicating results to business teams, and develop plans to help operationalize analytic solutions
Requirements - 5-6 years of professional work experience
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience good to have
- Experience in Asset/Wealth Management is preferred
- Experience in data profiling, data analysis, performing data quality checks, and data governance practices
- Experience of working with offshore teams
- Work with multiple stakeholders to author technical data requirements for a technical audience and build templates of this set of Technical requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related field. MBA preferred
- Strong project management and team management skills and ability to work with global teams
- Strong SQL skills and excellent knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau
- Python and SQL programming (Reporting)
- Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms
- Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as AWS, Hadoop HDFS, Hive is a plus
- Familiarity with principles and tools for data governance and stewardship
