Sr. Electrical Estimator/ Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating electrical systems and low voltage systems for construction projects. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing budgets, ensuring cost control, and managing subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate electrical systems and low voltage systems for construction projects
• Manage budgets and ensure cost control
• Manage subcontractors and oversee the bid process
• Develop scope of work and value engineering proposals
• Write proposals and provide customer feedback
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, N.E.C, local code, and other regulations
• Provide field experience and support to project managers
• Utilize software programs such as IntellBid and ConEST
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Demonstrate adaptability and multitasking skills
• Work on projects in various industries including schools and healthcare

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage systems, and construction project management
• Project experience in Healthcare or School Sectors
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating and project management
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and subcontractor management
• Knowledge of bid process, value engineering, and scope of work development
• Strong proposal writing and customer feedback skills
• Knowledge of compliance with safety standards, N.E.C, local code, and other regulations
• Field experience in electrical systems and low voltage systems
• Proficiency in software programs such as IntellBid, ConEST, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to new situations and multitask effectively
