Our client, a world leader in biotechnology, is looking for a “Sr UX Researcher” based out of Manhattan, NY.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate: $80/hr - $96/hr DOE

Prescient Design team (AI for Drug Discovery) is seeking an experienced UX Researcher to bridge the gap between world-class scientists and AI development teams. You’ll lead user research for advanced AI and LLM-based scientific tools, shaping user-centered product strategies that accelerate biomedical innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX research and usability testing to inform product strategy and identify workflow pain points.
  
• Design and execute usability studies using diverse methodologies (contextual inquiries, heuristic evaluations, interviews).
  
• Gather, analyze, and track qualitative and quantitative user feedback , driving continuous improvement of AI models and tools.
  
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations that influence product direction and enhance user engagement.
  
• Develop and maintain user-testing infrastructure , including recruitment pipelines and research documentation.
  
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders to align product features with user needs.
  
• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in UX research for complex, expert-facing or technical systems.
  
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods , usability testing, and data analysis.
  
• Hands-on experience with platforms like UserTesting or Contentsquare .
  
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Preferred: experience with LLM-based tools , agentic frameworks , or scientific/biomedical software .
