We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. *Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
* Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
* Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
* Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
* Creates a warm, welcoming and uplifting environment, greeting, connecting with and thanking customers *Checks in with the Play Caller and ensures they have the information needed to deliver exceptional experiences * Actively listens to customers, remaining present and working in assigned position *Follows the LATTE Model to recover the experience when things don’t go as planned * Uses operational tools and training to be knowledgeable and remain current on products, promotions and offers*Skills*
* Crafts and serves only the highestquality products while following standards and remaining in routine *Demonstrates knowledge of our coffee, culture, and heritage, creating personal connections with customers and partners through coffee tastings * Completes assigned responsibilities, following food safety standards to keep equipment and the store environment clean and safe *Uses Siren’s Eye to ensure food is visually appealing, stocked and signed appropriately * Accurately rings and follows proper cash handling proceduresExperience in the food industry, particularly in food service or handling.
* Proficiency in operating cash registers and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
* Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
* A passion for coffee and beverage preparation is highly desirable.

Pay: $16.25 - $17.49 per hour
