Job Description
We are seeking passionate and experienced STEM education subject matter experts to join our global development team on a short-term consulting basis. As a consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of STEM education initiatives around the world, contributing to proposal development, technical solutions, and project design. You will leverage your expertise in current best practices and research to help create impactful and innovative solutions for STEM education challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to technical design sessions, offering both written and narrative input on topics, including the integration of STEM education.
Research, analyze, and collaborate with specialists to develop potential solutions to address programmatic challenges.
Assist in writing and editing technical narrative sections and annexes, ensuring they meet the requirements of the solicitation.
Review drafts and provide written feedback during quality control milestones to improve technical narratives and annexes.
Integrate feedback and input seamlessly into the assigned technical sections and annexes, ensuring coherence and consistency.
Participate in business development activities, including capture trips, to gather stakeholder insights that will inform proposal strategy and technical design.
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of evidence-based best practices and international frameworks for STEM education, including curriculum development, teaching materials creation, pedagogy, pre-service training, teacher professional development, and systems-wide transformation at the primary or secondary education level.
Strong ability to synthesize large volumes of technical information into clear and concise deliverables.
Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale STEM education initiatives or strengthening STEM education systems.
Experience facilitating public-private partnerships for sustaining STEM education systems is highly valued.
Evaluation Criteria:
Consultants will be selected based on factors including qualifications, relevant experience with similar projects, past performance, interviews, and references.
