We are seeking a Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations and offers a unique opportunity to be part of diverse and complex construction projects. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where your leadership, problem-solving skills, and construction expertise will be put to the test.

Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent, your responsibilities will be multi-faceted and vital to the success of our projects. Your duties will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that specifications are met.
2. Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project plans.
3. Ensuring safety regulations are followed and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
4. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
5. Resolving any work-related issues swiftly and efficiently.
6. Conducting quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications.
7. Preparing and submitting project reports, and keeping stakeholders informed about the project status.
8. Implementing strategies to increase productivity and performance levels.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, with a preference for candidates with 10-15 years of experience.
2. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing construction projects from start to finish.
3. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
4. Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
8. Proficiency in construction management software.
